The Central Coast Sealions use a restricted eligible species list in all of their competitions. This ensures that only quality eating fish are taken and there is no wastage. A restricted species list helps to ensure there is no excessive pressure on any given species. In addition to a restricted list the size limits for fish to be weighed in are all well above those enforced by the NSW Fisheries. These measures help to ensure that our sport remains a Safe, Selective and Sustainable method of collecting seafood so that these resources may be enjoyed by all future generations.
Only one fish from each species may be weighed in unless the species appears twice on the score sheet in which case two fish from that species may be weighed in.
